Been wanting to write this post for long now….
One of the most common problems people come in with these days is problems related to HAIR.
Remember the old saying ‘As you sow , so shall you reap!’
With all these new fads of ‘LOOKING GOOD’ rather than ‘FEELING GOOD’ , more and more people are moving towards keeping themselves ‘ LOOKING YOUNG ‘ instead of ‘ FEELING HEALTHY and YOUNG ‘. AGEING GRACEFULLY HAS BECOME A THING OF THE PAST!
The market is full of products declaring to be ‘ANTI-AGEING’ and people are queueing up to get the same . And of all the ‘ANTI-AGEING’ products that are doing the rounds today, the ones selling like ‘HOT CAKES’ are HAIR COLOURS and HAIR DYES !
To GET RID of this problem of HAIR FALL n other related scalp problems, the first thing I suggest, is for people to GRACEFULLY ACCEPT the fact that one is no longer growing young by the day , and getting GRAY HAIR IS PART OF THE DEAL ! Dyeing or colouring the hair will only change the colour of the hair but what would you do about the other factors that show your age??!!??
So, when I ask people what benefits are they getting out of dyeing/
colouring hair , their reply mostly is, “it makes me look young” , ” it makes me look presentable” , ” oh! I have a social commitment so I couldn’t go there without my hair done” and so on and so forth . A li’l amused and much more concerned about their health , I ask ’em , “Do you know how much damage this is doing to you?” To this, they make a sad face and say ” yes! I know, but then what to do?”
I mean , seriously????
You know that something is not good for you and yet you’re doing it coz you feel you’ll not be accepted by the society if you don’t follow the crowd!

* Using these dyes n colours has such SERIOUS SIDE-EFFECTS! Hair colouring is just basic chemistry of the reactions that take place in between the pigments of your hair, the pigments in dye, peroxide and ammonia.
* Over treating your hair with these eventually leads to LUSTRELESS, FRAGILE, GRAY HAIR, THIN HAIR, and EXCESSIVE HAIR LOSS!
* Permanent hair dyes contain PARAPHENYLENEDI
AMINE, which is a common allergen. It causes SKIN ALLERGIES, ECZEMA, PSORIASIS and in the milder cases, ITCHING, SKIN IRRITATION, REDNESS or SWELLING ON YOUR SCALP or other sensitive areas like the NECK and the FACE .
*LEAD ACCELERATE is also a common ingredient in the permanent hair dyes and research has shown a possible link between this chemical and FERTILITY ISSUES in men and women.
* In some case when the chemicals in these make contact with the eyes, it can lead to CONJUNCTIVITIS or PINK EYE.
* Hair dyes aggravate ASTHMA because of the PERSULFATES present in them and continued inhalation of these chemicals leads to LUNG INFLAMMATION, THROAT DISCOMFORT, COUGHING, WHEEZING and ASTHMA ATTACKS.
The list is endless, of the negative reactions of this new fad!
As if we have an option to cut down the chemicals that we are anyways otherwise ingesting on a daily basis through all the pesticides and chemicals that are present on the vegetables and fruits that we purchase everyday. The air we breathe in, is as it is full of chemicals and so polluted and the water we drink is not so pure either. But all these are something that we can’t avoid. Avoid we can , are the chemicals that we are further exposing ourselves to, through these dyes and hair colours!
In an already deteriorating world, stop deteriorating the one life you’ve so preciously got , Trying to live a superficial life , pleasing the others around , putting yourself through all this discomfort!!!!
LET GO OF THE ARTIFICIAL AND TRY FALLING IN LOVE WITH THE REAL, BEAUTIFUL YOU!!! YOU’RE GORGEOUS THE WAY YOU ARE AND LET NOONE MAKE YOU FEEL OTHERWISE EVER AGAIN!!!! LIVE PURE and SIMPLE and LET THE REAL YOU SHINE!!! THE UNIVERSE LOVES YOU AS YOU ARE!!! ONLY YOU’VE FORGOTTEN YO LOVE YOURSELF AS MUCH!!!
